UK Trip

One of my dreams in life is to visit Europe especially London because I have always wanted to visit Wimbledon. I want to see an actual tennis championship since i was entralled by the movie Wimbledon. I should not worry on where to stay because i can just easily pick any of the London Hotels in the area. Maybe i can stay here or here.

Since i like tours, trails and city walks. I should not be missing Birmingham. Then again, i could always stay in any of the Birmingham Hotels.

I really like United Kingdom for its picturesque architectures. All the more reason for me to visit London now that i know i have choices of cheap hotel accomodations. Travelling can never be as great since you can have the best deals in London hotels.

lamps and lighting fixtures

I already have in mind what my dream house should look like. It should have the perfect lighting fixtures installed all over the house. Looking for the suitable lamps both indoor and outdoor should never be a problem because i already found the perfect array of styles to choose from.

I have always admired houses or restos that has "fine art lamps" for decors as it dramatically adds ambiance to the place. The place can even get romantic just by putting the appropriate accent lamps and light accessories. I especially like the ones from "maxim lighting" indoor light fixtures. The "sunset collection" looks very cozy - I like rattan materials that is.

Shop now for the best lamps, even utility lighting according to your sense of style and budget. Their lighting fixtures from different manufacturers are not only decorative but are functional as well.

The Face Behind The Blog

So I was tagged by Irel on this one. Geezz what else is there to say about myself when i basically write everything in my blog and in my journal. Haha! :P And what else is there to see when my face is all over my blog. LOL! I post pictures every now and then you know. :P

i told yah, my face is all over! this should be "the faceS behind the blog" :P don't get me wrong, i don't love my face that soo much, just that i love collages hehe (excuses! :P)

Well, well, let's get down to real business now. My birth name is Lany. You should now have a hint why i go by the nick Ylan. I have five sisters and I'm the second from the eldest. Growing up, i tried to be a very good student. I thought that getting a better education will improve my life, our lives. I'm not born to affluent parents. I have my fair share of difficulties in life. (life's still difficult 'till now actually heheh). I always get things the hard way. But then again, an old cliche says, things that are hard to bear are sweet to remember. Indeed it is!

escapade to bantayan island

Last weekend was a blast. Me and my friends went to Kota Beach in Bantayan Island. It's a 2-3 hour-bus ride from North bus terminal to Hagnaya plus another hour of ferry ride. The trip was very okay since it was very sunny. No motion sickness for me to worry :P Unfortunately though, I suffered hyperacidity after our dinner. I freaked out, i almost cried for my tummy hurts badly. I failed to bring along some medicine and no pharmacy was open in the vicinity. Thanks to the "white flower" liniment (that i only brought) and for Macelle and Mellany's massages, it saved me through the night. For the most part of the trip, it was a very enjoyable one. I can't wait to go back! :P Special thanks to Alfer for showcasing his photography prowess! Naks!

First and foremost, thanks to each and everyone who greeted me on my natal day. Thanks for all the wonderful greetings and thoughtfulness guys. :)

Oh okay, last july 14, i reached the maximum threshold of being in the twenties. (hala guess pila nah! lol!) Paksit! I still can't believe i'm that old. Well, i don't think i look my age though! Charrr :P

I watched the movie Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix last night. I won't utter any of my opinion regarding the movie since i'm really not following the sequels by heart. Heheh. I'll leave that part to all the HP avid fans out there. However, i have one thing to blurt. I don't like Harry now that he's big! I like him better when he was still a kid. :)
